2018 - Simple September

Ahhhhhhhhh - can you feel it? The sameness of each day in September?
We settle back into our routines and while it feels pretty plain Jane, it’s also pretty wonderful to just hang with friends before sports really start, get to know our new teachers and have those warm nights in California that can be so rare around these parts.

One of my favorite part about school starting back up are the School field trips start coming together: 

Earth Day Beach Clean up

The School Sock Hop was so fun, even if I didn’t want to wear that silly skirt ~ I still had a blast.

 Plus the Fun stuff on the calendar with Mom like....

#Candytopia & Dim Sum Day with Sophie aka "Tophe". I mean is there really a better combination is day... I think not and the proof is in the photos for sure. Smiles for miles all day long!

Even a quick stop off at our favorite Sports Basement. 

After school froyo Days for Mord are another highlight of low sport afternoons in September

School camp out night was so fun but soooo windy, our tent was nearly rolling around the field. 

And even Dad was getting his old Teacher Feels by showing us the fun of  dry ice ....

And he even did a Parent Share with Mortys class about how to change a bike tire. 

Great job Daddo!!! Now we can totally see how he used to be a teacher. Dad has so many hidden talents. WE call him "The Onion". 

And of course what’s a September re-entry without Mom’s forced hikes?!

Sometimes are are allowed to bring the doggos. It really depends on whether Muppets back is hurting  him or Macho's feet are falling apart - either way the view are insane and the climbing is fun ... aside from the bickering Morty and sometimes get into. EEk!

Just before morty was stung by a yellow jacket and his arm swelled up like a baseball.
Those things are EVIL!

It feels good to be home : )
