You know it’s
July when Mom looks a little less haggard. You might have to look close, but you can see the lines softening a bit and she’s taking full breathes. The beginning of July is pretty smooth some might say... kids are at camp, Dad is usually biking somewhere.... it’s a break in the storm of a marathon summer of go go go!!!
Mom and Mrs F are lucky enough to both have siblings in the NorthWest so a trip seemed like the best way to kick off the summer of leaving the kids in the middle of the country and pretend like they weren’t gutted with fear on how it would all go. So off they went!
Then the was time for camp pick up and then track to the east!
But first .... a bleach bath.

| Cheese Ball alert. Morty is so ridiculously happy to be home with us, its actually pretty cute. Not sure Ive ever seen him in better spirits actually. Camp may have been hard for him but I think he found some courage too. |

July on the Cape is where it’s at. I know I say this every summer, but it’s true. I love almost everything about it. Sure, I miss all my newfound camp friends but there nothing like a day on the beach kill crusteaceans with your cousins. It’s true.

We celebrate grammas birthday first! It’s so fun to get the sugar high going within days of getting back from camp. Thank you for being born Gamma 👸🏼
Okay, so maybe The Cape really has my FAVORITE because it’s the home of my favorite holiday of the year. My birthday 🎂 - OBVI!

| Why have one cake when you can have TWO!!?? Mom makes one of my cakes during the summer and angel food cake with frosting is a family tradition for the most part. I was MORE than happy to oblige. |
This Year was extra special on the Cape for two reasons.
1) The Whites came all the way to the east coast to ha g with us.
We have sooooo much fun together, I wish we lived by one another to make it happen all the time.... wait a minute! .... we do live by one another!!! Come on parents!
2) I went to a 2nd sleep away camp. This one wasn’t really my cup of tea but it was fun to have the 5 days to hang with friends and see what other camps do. { yep, I still prefer my own bed}

THEN the most magical part of the summer happened to our family.
