2018 - august will be chill, right? #BirthMonths

We should really just combine July and August and call them “BirthMonths” in our family.
It’s pretty incredible all the ways we celebrate in these 60 days but I love love love it.
It’s like the 60 days of surprises for everyone involved - except mom ...... and sometimes dad too.

This month was no exception, in fact I think it was even more exceptional and jaw dropping than the usual summer blow out. You see, our parents are sneaky liars sometimes. They plan things, BIG things in secret and keep it from us until they are about to burst and boom 💥 .... bare with me and you’ll see what I mean.

Here we were just eating Hawaiian ice after camp on the Cape one day ....

Going to CC Angler Baseball games..... normal....

August was Chill in the beginning. Same old same celebratory extravaganzas, Cape Cod style.
We were getting ready to have morty bday party with the fam, business as usual, and then they told us we had to do it early because we were NOT going to be in the Country on his actual birthday OR for  Dad's birthday for that matter. 🤯 .... see what I mean?

Morty had a quick and eraly TOUR de France birthday blowout with the fam.

Next thing we knew, we were en route to PARIS! Somewhere I had been dying to go allllllll my life and it was happening!!!!!!!!!!!! (insert squeals & screams)

When we first arrived, we were all crazy jet lagged but Dad decided to let us all take a quick nap while he went out and found sustenance. Such a good Daddo!

The all amazing incredible LOUVRE!

Our view from the Eiffel Tower!

Real crepes with butter, powdered sugar & jam. The bees tried to take it from me but I WON!

Dad time is the best time

We did it all - we even say the Notre Dam before the terrible fire from our riverboat cruise around gay Paris!

Dad had a Parisian birthday this year. Oui oui!

Theeeeeennn on the way home we were going to just stop in to LONDON and stay for a while 🤯 - mind blown is an understatement.

Poor Mom got super sick the afternoon we got there but Dad ket the train running and took us for a tour around London, fed us Tapas and recorded the fun of Morty perfecting his "Flossing" moves in the park.

Celebrating Morty's REAL birthday at Hamleys while he rang the bell to open the doors!

Of course Morty needed some prezzies on his real birthday and I knew the way to his heart with The Golden State Warriors gear. #StephCurrysBiggestFan

Then for Mom and Dad's anniversary ~ a day at the Making Of Harry Potter. I kid you NOT!

It was like a dream - We were about to see inside the world I had spent more than half my life reading about!

Go Morty Go! See you on the other side.

Almost went through and never came back!

The whirlwind tour our a lifetime wrapped up just in time for us to get home, hug the doggies and get back to school.

Third & Fifth grade were calling us  and we couldn't wait to see all our friends and har about their summer adventures. It had been over 2 months since we had been in "The Bubble"
