2018 - April Spring Break Love

April 2018 was like a sigh of relief. 
We were in the home stretch of a new school year, the days were getting longer, the friendships were starting to feel like kind that have inside jokes and easy hang outs that just happened on the fly.

Morty even got in on “fun” and Mom signed them up for his first (and likely last) Mother & Son dance at the local rec center with his classmates. Everyone said how cute it was, how he was going to love the dancing, photo booth and cookie buffet. Uhm, I don’t know who Mom thought she was bringing to the dance but morty was only in it for the cookies with friends and then to get the hell out of dodge. Beau was one step behind him the whole way and they all made an Irish Exit before then dancing was even under way. “A” for effort Mom! He looked pretty cute anyhow.

We pretty much look forward to April all year round. I know, it seems like a random month but when your a family that gets Spring Break together and you don’t have to go far to claim it? It’s like happiness left right at your feet. It’s like Christmas for the senses! Dad doesn’t mind this yearly pilgrimage neither. Hawaii looks good on him.

April just rolls on with all the love too. What’s not to love about ....

And the best of all is when we get Mrs Frisella all to ourselves for a west coast visit. I know one day MaeveyLou and Theo might tag along but for now we will take Eeeeelliiisse showing us funny popsicle videos of Maeve when she was 3.
