2017 Bi-Coastal December Lovin'

2017 DECEMBER DELIGHT

You must admit, the month of December is full of Magic an Mayhem. 

There's a buzz all around about a short month of school, gift buying, gift giving, decorations galore, home baked goods, extra treats, flying to meet family, sneaky Elves and the list goes on!!

Mom knows that every time we have a major holiday - i tell her how its my FAVORITE holiday. I'm not really sure what this says about me ~ probably all good things (obvi!) right?

2017 was a pretty spectacular December to remember because we were going bi-coastal for the major events and that's just special no matter what the holiday! So lets just get right into it by showing off all our December adventures : )

Union Square has a massive tree, just like in NYC  - with Ice Skating and without the frigid temps!!

Brownie the reindeer and Snowflake the Elf have come to "watch" us to keep us on our toes.
Looks like Brownie is a little preoccupied right now, Quick Morty - get the Oreos!!

BASKETBALL SEASON is Underway! 

GO IRISH! 💚

Basketball Season is pretty much my all time favorite. The girls on my team turned out to be pretty awesome.
Who knew when I "accidentally" joined the wrong team on the first day of practice I was about to make some fantastic friendships!

Coach Todd & Nate are really pretty stellar too. Super encouraging  have just the right amount of tough love too.

Field Trip Time!!

Any city that has Free Zumba for the lunch hour is where I want to live.

FIRSTs!

So Morty has discovered the INCREDIBLE culinary delight that is IN N' OUT.
You'd think that most people go for the burgers, right? Not this guy - Grilled cheese, Milkshake & fries ally the way.

First 5k! The Sausalito Jingle Bell Race was pretty monumental. Morty ran the whole thing with his buddy Logan and beat both mom and I. It was special day that really boost his spirits. Go Morty Go!

MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM is in town!!

This is a tradition I don't think I'll ever get tired of. Friends + art/crafting + candy + hot chocolate. Whats NOT to love?!! I think Rufus may have put more in his mouth than on his house - I think I'm only telling you that because I'm more jealous than anything else.

CAPE COD CHRISTMAS

Another tradition we have started was spending the week leading up to Xmas in Cape Cod. 

It's actually warmer than St Louis (not warmer than SF tho) and the shell finds on the beach are pretty  amazing. 

No trip to Cape Cod is complete without making a stop at the Chatham Candy Manor.
It really should just be called "Heaven on Earth" - the smell of them king fresh fudge every day is enough to make you drool down your shirt with one step inside of the front door. 

Thanks for the head gear Mom!

Tahno's favorite part about Cape Cod Xmas is the empty streets for him to ride his bike. 

My favorite part are the beach walks.

Like my drawing? That's "M Bird" - Nono had a friend seagull that would come by for frozen shrimps when he was on the deck. I wonder if he misses Nono as much as we do?

The drawback of getting up earlier than anyone else on Christmas Morning.... you have to wait ; (

One of my super favorite parts of Christmas morning is the pancake faces. This year figured out that whipped cream is excellent with bacon. Try it - you won't be disappointed!

Another opportunity to gorge!! Chatham Bar Inn buffet dinner AND buffet dessert. Lets be honest, we are all going to have a buffet of desserts. Some years are better than others but the options are a feast for the eyes and for my belly! 

Clearly Mom had wayyyyyyyy too many sweets. Some one get the hook!! #Snapchat
