Magnificent Marvelous Mommy May - 2017

As you undoubtedly already know May is the month of Mom.
2017 was no different and in fact it particularly a special one as she is officially reallllllly old - FORTY 40!!!

Dad had a very special surprise for Mom and didn't tell her where he was taking her until she was at the gate of the 2nd airplane flight!! Punta Mita! Mom has always wanted to go there and I'm pretty sure we could hear her excited squeals all the way back in Missouri.

Not only did Dad pull off the mega surprise of a bucket list destination but he also managed to secretly get two of Mom's favorite people in the whole universe to tag along! - The Beevors!
They came all the way from Wyoming and Mom's grin was undoubtedly ear to ear the whole vacation.

On a more important and interesting note - you are obviously wondering what WE did while they were away basking in the sun and frolicking the water!?

WE LIVED it up!! Just like we always do when Ms. Kris is in charge. It was soooooo awesome, it made us dream of Mom and Dad going on more vacations. win win!

We went to a happening new restaurant opening at Humble Pie. Cookies were a total thumbs up!
We made soap from scratch!! - How cool is that?!!

Of course it wouldn't be a Ms. Kris love fest without some animal love too.

AND last but certainly not least - we went to see donuts being made at Krispy Cream and all I could say was ..... why has it taken me nearly 10 years to get to Donut Heaven??!!! Hot donuts off the conveyor belt . UHM - heck ya!!!!!!!!

Life is SWEET when the parental units are out of town.

When Mom and Dad came back home they brought gifts. What do you think they are trying to tell us? I thought wrestling was off limits and now they want us to dress up and go at it? They are pretty fun if I do say so myself.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mom and I had some Mother daughter time and my 1st Gala/Auction. Mrs. Ferring was really sweet to ask us to attend a lunch with her and see how the Lift For Life Academy supports the kids at their school. They had the coolest fashion show where they made their own clothes!!!

---------------------------------------------------

Being that this is the Month of Devon aka (MOM) the next way we celebrated Mom was on
Mothers Day!
Mothers Day at school was super sweet, we read our poems and  showed all the moms the fun projects we have been working on.

Caterpillar World was super fun but also came with a lot of girl  drama. Still cute though, right?

Mom is a huge succulent fan and almost a year later its still growing!
On the actual Mothers Day, Dad usually takes us out for Pancakes and lets mom sleep in!! She loves this!!
Dad loves to make sure Mom has a heavy supply of all things sweet while he is away - I want to eat them all!!!

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Next on our list of celebrations was moving into our apartment in St. Louis. Its a lot smaller than our house but it has the best view and we love to count cars from the windows. Morty and I share a room and as it turns out he doesn't snore at all.... so far!!

someones exhausted from all the moving!

Art/Notices on my bedroom door - ZOOM IN!

I'm  really into Pusheen the days - would doesn't live a rotund kitty ??!!

---------------------------------------------------------------------

It wouldn't be May in our world if it didn't wrap up with a Memorial Day run through U-City with the Frisellas.
This time The Panneri's AND the Goldbergs were there too!!!

feeling kind of tall when I see this photo.

--------------------------------------------------------------

May is so beautiful in Missouri that you just can't stay indoors. The allergies are finally settling down (or you've given in to loads of medications!) and dog walks with frog hunts and tadpole searches are in full effect. This year we event found this really cool area where there were hundreds of mini frogs.

quintessential childhood moment is what Mom called it.
She wasn't even mad when Morty feel in head first!! - She just said "Typical!"

----------------------------------------------
The hardest part about May was that it was the last full month we would live in St. Louis. The last of our weekly Sunday dinners with Gamma. I guess we should just be happy to have made so many fun memories at 9900 - it was a really bittersweet month for all of us.

---------------------------------------------------------------

One last 9900 Dinner for Hawker too would only be right. She laughed with us, or maybe at us.
Either way we made more good memories to pack along with us.

May is nearly over which means school will soon come to an end. Holy Moly - Moving time is almost here!! EEEEeeeeeekkkkk!
